How do I mine dogecoin? What is Dogecoin mining?
A few have asked me what this is So here is the answer and I will leave it at that!
A old computer you already have can be plugged in and start mining - just put it in a spare room and forget about it. Of course adding a decent graphics card will increase the yield.
Again it is speculative, and personally just treat it as something for the computer to do when I am asleep. As the graphics card doesn't do a lot then. Or if you work it could be generating for 8hrs+sleep time!
To do this you could do a lot worse than watch this video that will explain it all.
http://twit.tv/show/know-how/74 dogecoin mining basics
then watch this
http://twit.tv/show/know-how/75 which shows how to build a better set up
Well its a serious business here are some extremes
http://www.overclock.net/t/1449952/post ... miner-s/10
but you do not need this level of investment.
BASICS
A PC with a video card and a free download - mining software CUDMINER for NVIDEA and CGIMiner for ATI cards and obviously a wallet to collect your coins (dogecoin.com or litecoin.org for example) join a mining pool online as you will make more if you are a noob. And connect.
You can fiddle with settings and clock speed to squeeze as much as as you can from your set up but don't worry about that for now. Again you can watch this show and I do explain it a little more here.
