I still stand by my original advice

start by taking one half a tablet per day for a two or three weeks. Then spend four to six weeks taking half in a morning and half 12 hours later before finally taking a full one in the morn and another in the evening.

You can split pills easily enough with a razor blade - I had a mis-spent youth doing it
You don't need to split to the precise, microgram-correct size ....... near enough will do.
As long as the pill is gripped between fingertips as it is cut so it doesn't flirt off all will be well.
Look at the "halves" you've cut....... if there is a smaller one, then take any dust and small splinters with that one to even the "halves" up.

In reality, it would make little practical difference if one was only a third and the other was two thirds
