No need to be stubborn Chrissie, just put your point across and let them know that you are sure.

I echo what the others here have said. I'm 50 now and if anybody told me that I was too old - I would slap them :gigglersx: . Seriously, there are many girls on the sites who are much older than us and there are many who are fortunate enough to be younger. Like everything else in this journey we embark on - it is YOUR journey and YOURS alone. There is no right or wrong, just what works best for you.

The medical specialists are there to help you on that journey and help to make sure that everything that is done is in your best interest. Don't expect that it will all go to 'plan' (it won't), you will likely need to make adjustments to the plan and so long as you expect that - you should be fine. If what you are doing is right - you will know. If it isn't, well you will realise in good time.

I transitioned at 53, straight through the system in the minimum possible time, no problem.

Also ..... I know (or knew, she is dead now) the oldest post-op in England who had her surgery at 71.

When I was in for my own SRS, there was a 67 year-old having a cosmetic SRS

I think "minimum possible time" has grown rather a lot in the last couple of years! Hopefully they'll somehow speed things up a bit...
