The Watchmen movie was a big old chunk of my life that I'm never getting back! :x

I loved it!
I actually saw it before I read the graphic novel ( ), but I've watched it 2-3 times and I think it's actually very good. They cut some unnecessary stuff but a lot of it has stayed pretty faithful to the graphic novel, IMHO. I was honestly surprised at Rorshach's monologue around the time he's investigating the Comedian's apartment, I would have thought it'd be toned down to pander to PC nonsense.

Lairiana,

Hope I didn't offend you by my comments on "Watchmen"- the movie. I haven't tried the graphic novel. There were moments of humour that I liked in the film. Maybe I should try the graphic novel? I used to love Marvel Comics when I was a kid, but then I seem to have missed the whole 'graphic novel' genre. I did really enjoy the film Sin City, though. And "V for Vendetta," and people keep telling me I should read them. Maybe I should do a session of graphic novels. I tend to read books in clumps.

TC,
Joel
