I suspect if Leigh Francis lost his in a car accident - somehow it would not be that funny to him. Trans men lose theirs as a result of a birth condition. Rare Slip for Channel 5 network - the ending of this film aimed at children is possibly one of the worst in transphobic film history.
We see a transwoman, have her clothes torn off her, and Ace is embarrassed as he rips her shirt off and she has breasts, so OOPS she is a woman! Until he plays his ace card making her bend over to show her tucked genitals in her underwear, At this point all the Police officers projectile vomit whilst she stands there abused whilst the 'Crying Game' music plays.
Words cannot begin to expressed the madness of this and the level of abuse this has encouraged over the years - the projectile vomiting alone has surfaced in 'Family Guy' and 'The Cleveland Show' to name but two (but also in Russel Howard's Good News in the Ladyboy Airline Sketch) and the roots of it are right here in this film!
This ending needs to be edited once and for all - I have seen an edited version in the past where this is not quite so 'graphic', but to be honest why show it at all, there are so many better choices.
POOR! And a black mark against Channel 5 who always win our best channel in our annual awards, Their crown may well slip if they carry on like this. It could be a one-off ignorant scheduler of course.

He did a good job and looked quite good. However, anything involving crossdressing does risk transphobic elements creeping in, such as labels, like Tranny and so on... This didn't happen so its a good effort from ITV. I mean to me anyone crossdressing if they are clearly made to look like a 'man in a dress' is borderline transphobia anyway. If they are clearly drag queens and say so, or are entertaining like this and go to so much trouble then who am I to say they cannot do it

Mind you this series is produced by Endemol who also produce Big Brother and Big Brother has grown from their transphobic'ness' a few years back mainly due to pestering and getting transpeople on the show. I have no problem with transporn and many a transwoman has done well and made a nice life for themselves from it, but we just need to be aware that it has its place and in the same listings as CBBC is in part why we as a country face filtering from ISPs. Ironically they will not be filtered in the national listings. I'll bet in a years time I will be saying the same thing.

A transitioning transwoman can add the possibility of this to their long list of worries.

The guys all crossdress to pretend to be the girls from Sex in the City to see if they can dupe the photographer into trying to con them.
This leads to the ludicrous situation of them and a number of other groups of men crossdressed waiting for the crooked photographer to show his face.
This is all harmless I guess - and by the sheer numbers of cross-dressed men who really have been drawn to be smart and the fact they didn't seem to mind dressing up nicely - it does work.
However, there is a 'sex-change gag' in the mix -
Tim the Bear - "Are you saying we get breast implants and 'sex-change' surgeries to go under cover as middle-aged women?"
Cleveland -"Yes I am saying that!""It will be a major life adjustment and a more than considerable expense, but it cannot be argued that we all owe it to my mother!"

I think they are talking to the wrong people, the BBC should be talking to people who monitor the media rather than those who appear on it.
As people who want to be on it are unlikely to have the teeth to challenge them and tell the BBC that atm they are total an utter failures as a channel in trans terms - they do throw us a bone now and again, but even then they scr*w up. Perfect example is Grayson Perry wins a BAFTA and the next presenter uses the term 'Tranny'. Or they show endless transphobic comedy and may have a sitcom with the Trans comedy award - which will come and go.
Its not enough! This is lazy they have to fundamentally change their whole view of transpeople not just buy us off with some rare sitcom.

around with a friend on a SUNDAY MORNING they were doing nothing wrong, he had some speeding tickets so they used that

programme for surgery, was polite and well spoken. She has been told she is not welcome in the area?

The second of two episodes of Cops this week that portrays any transperson as a sex-worker when it was clear they were
not.
We may have a new contender for the worse show on television.
In this episode a car is stopped - routine check and the woman driving is with a friend. The friend is removed from the
car and 'warned' that the driver is in fact a 'MAN' and that he should know this. He said he has known her for a few
months. They ask if he is happy about continuing the journey with her and he said yes?
The officer was ignoring anything trans and treated her as a man throughout.
He then went on to say, "if you are dressed like that you are going to be arrested by vice!"
There is this assumption by the police that transpeople are sex workers by default, The fact she can go to a
transfriendly bar that the passenger may frequent and be friends and just be giving the guy a lift or are a consenting
couple who may get together is none of their business, write the traffic ticket and leave thank you. They repeatedly
keep saying him, a guy, Scott, they humiliated her and the passenger and are now both on international television for
life (no blurred faces), and suggest that she is a prostitute.
Transcript
Officer - "Do you know this person?"
Passenger - "She is taking me home.
The male officer then gives the transwoman a sobriety test - walk the line etc.
The camera zooms in on her stockinged feet and hands.

working out here, They will pick you up just cos of the way you are dressed!"

Again, terms like 'Girlie boy', ladyboy, she-male, and Trannie in just two listings.
The channel could have some respect and call them transwomen, it's the relentless 'male-ness' here - the 'MAN' that is for sale not the women many of these women identify themselves as. For many pornography is either a last resort, or the only job they can get, in part because transwomen are continually oppressed by these very terms. Catch-22. Regardless of how individual transwomen behave this has a massive effect upon the wider community. Transwomen are seen as sexual deviants by default as a result.

Bordering on the quaint by today's standards Guilty! saw many a transperson judged by the studio audience with a defence and prosecution... every type of person was on there, a cross between Judge Judy and Jeremy Kyle. Even our very own Support Group CO-HOST Janett Scott makes an appearance - now 10 years old. But still running in the early ours.

Natalie reminded me of Jason in Hollyoaks when Victoria Atkin played the FTM character.
It kinda shows just how boyish women actually are for the most part. And the affect puberty therefor has on males who looked like that once too!

Not too challenging, I have noticed a big shift in what magazine shows like their transpeople to be, and usually it is very passable transpeople as opposed to the classic Daily Mail 'Bloke in a frock'. However, those are transpeople too and often suffer the most.
Last month a transwoman was forced to leave town in Scotland and labeled a witch - maybe we should hear her story?
All very nice, very passable in their acquired genders, and plan to get married.
Good stuff from 'This Morning'. I notice that the co-presenter (with his wife Ruth) Eamon does seem to be more at ease if the trans girl is convincing as a woman (voice and attractiveness) in the past I have noticed arms folded when they are not - maybe I am reading too much into this. But you know.

This was close as they made a gag and said Genital reassignment, which is now more favoured over gender as gender is set at birth. So thats good, But $58,000 she needs a quote from Suporn in Thailand
If they are gunna make a transgender gag at least this was a better effort.
Maybe the US pressure groups have guided them better as something has happened.

Team captains Holly Willoughby and Kelly Brook head two teams of celebrity guests as presenter Keith Lemon brings his usual irreverent mixture of laugh-out-loud silliness and too-rude-for-words naughtiness to proceedings. Guests preparing to be ribbed mercilessly in this show include Catchphrase
presenter Stephen Mulhern, Girls Aloud's Sarah Harding, TOWIE lovebirds Joey Essex and Sam Faiers, and comedian Seann Walsh.

They play 'Catphrase' but rename the character to 'Mr. Nips' (usually called Mr. Chips) and draw a bra on him.
It gets a big laugh.
It at first seems harmless, bit it is relentless with this show, week in and week out, chipping away (no pun intended) and anything trans.
The argument is - "its a cartoon character - grow up!"
However, if this is the case why not 'Mrs Chips' and a bra? No because that is not as 'funny' as a man (or even a cartoon one) in a bra.
The trouble is other comics like Russell Howard (BBC THREE) Sees this and thinks, "well if he can do it..." So next thing you know he has a Chinese guy in one doing the same gag this series - a few series back he had the infamous Ladyboy Airline Sketch pulled, this is not such a big jump you know when you think about it and the Chinese character he uses now.
Cancer sets in with one rogue cell, the tumor can take many years to kill you, we are currently watching the tumour grow and grow, we see it in our logs here, read the weeks and weeks of it.
The media logic being, "what's a little extra cancer cell between friends eh?" A little extra cell added here and there is miniscule? But not to the host (the transcommmunity). I think it would be nice just to stay away and leave the trans community alone for a year or two - call it media chemotherapy! So we can get our breath back. As being pummeled in the face day in and day out by television is not only cruel it is exhausting.
Still, "its only a laugh," eh(?), "its only a joke", "its only..." Racism was like that in the 70s - "can't you take a joke mate? It was just a laugh!""Where is your sense of humour?"
Yeah right!
Try 70s humour now!
Odd thing is noobdy mocks Leigh Francis (the man who hides behind Keith Lemon) and his family, wonder how he would go with that?

The much anticipated new series for the BBC to challenge the popularity of ITV's 'Plebs' (Set in Rome).
This was very much akin to 'The Young Ones' (BBC 1980s), a chaotic and sometimes shambolic stage play feeling even touching on standard British Farce in places.
The first episode went without a trans hitch and I though this being new fresh and enlightened that at last crossdressing for laughs would be off the agenda.
But as we can see it didn't take long before the 'laugh at the man dressed as a woman' appeared. In this instance to sneak into a women's fitness class to spy on them. This all very a 'creepy' feel although in the context of the show, just reinforces that view that if men crossdress, they are 'up to something' untoward!
Just a cheap laugh and the BBC have learned nothing.
Police Officer -
"If I see you in the vicinity of that lesiure centre again it will be more than a caution, is that clear sir?"
BBCThis is reminicient of the ITV episode of Benidorm, where a crossdressed person was arrested for soliciting for sex (when they were only innocently waiting for a friend) thrown in a van with other transwomen and taken away by the police to the laughter of two girls observing, the fact there is a police officer in this image also plays into the 'wrongness' of a person wearing "women's clothes", and something they should be arrested for.
To Quote Eddie Izzard - "They are not women's clothes they are my clothes!"
It is not illegal to crossdress btw. And its not right to laugh at a 'man (in this instance) in women's clothes.'
What went on at the Leisure Centre is open to question but the audience's mind is made up when you see this image.
