Hi Chad Ive just had my top surgery and I was in for a total of 3 days with 2 overnights. They only let you out once both drains have drained less than a set amount - at Derriford it was less than 30mls in 24hrs Other guys I know have been in about the same amount of time so its a good ball park fig...

How did you learned 8-) )) ? It was a long process but I feel worth it in the end :) I started out learning to get it right with everything 'dropped' :lol: I just stood practically over the loo so if I got it wrong I wouldnt make a mess :lol: The whole practising in the shower thing just didnt work...

Thanks for that John, I do own some 'old mens' pjs :roll: so I'll take them along! I also own alot of shirts that button up the front so I'll be wearing one of them to the hospital for sure I was lucky enough to be made 2 made to measure post op binders on the NHS! So at least I know they will fit o...
