Cholesterol

Postby Helen » Mon Nov 07, 2011 2:15 pm

I paid my usual trip to my GP recently, mainly for a blood test (hormone levels etc) and a general chat. I was a bit suprised to get a phone call from the surgery a few days later asking me to call in as soon as possible!
I called in and was advised that my cholesterol level was way too high ......... so don't forget to get yours checked from time to time.
So it's no cake, biscuits or chocolate for me for a while ....... perhaps some in moderation, plus a cholesterol reducing diet.
Ho hum.

:problem:

PS: I'm not overweight and I do get some exercise ....... :shrugs:

Looks like you will be on statins :)

pop one a day and you should be fine but useful advice - no more clotted cream or cream cakes for you then ;)P
