Participate in research study

Do you identify as transgender or gender non-conforming? Are you 18 years old or older? If so, you may be eligible to participate in a paid research study on the causes of suicidal thoughts and behaviors among transgender and gender non-conforming individuals. I’m a clinical psychology graduate student and this study is for my master’s thesis.

It is not necessary to have a history of suicidal thoughts or behaviors to participate. In this study, your participation will include filling out several questionnaires online when you sign up and again in one month. Participation is completely voluntary, and you must be 18 years or older and identify as transgender or gender non-conforming to participate. This study will take approximately 1-2 hours total to complete (45-90 minutes at Time 1 and 15-30 minutes at Time 2). You will be asked to provide a valid email address in order to be compensated $15 in Amazon e-gift cards for participating. This study has been approved by the Institutional Review Board.
