Hi everyone,
I am a postgraduate student at University of Glasgow currently undertaking a dissertation looking at trans representation in UK newspapers and effects of trans media representation on trans audiences. After an initial content analysis of articles in this period I’m looking to run two online focus groups with UK based self-defining trans people to discuss some of the patterns and themes that emerge from the articles. These focus groups will be completely anonymous and you are free to withdraw at any time. Quotations, headlines and some newspaper images (with faces blurred out where they appear) will be used during the focus group to aid the discussion. Online interviews are also possible if that's an easier format.
If you want more information or to get involved you can message me here or email me on rhumphrey at hotmail.co.uk
Thank you for your time.
Rhianna

I would contact our colleagues at TransMediaWatch

Jennie and the gang are probably better placed regarding newspapers.
We are Television specialists.
