The sea

Postby thefishkeeper » Sat Sep 18, 2010 3:46 pm

I believe that I may have posted this on the old forum, but I think it's worth resurrecting again.

It may have been the first I wrote, at least it's the only I can recite off by heart.

I would like to to swim beneath the sea!
What wondrous sights would there be?
A sunken galleon! Or Rusty reels?
Giant manta rays or conger eels?
I would love to go beneath the sea for an hour or more!
To see fish swimming by in their score.
But alas for me that can not be!

I was born blind...you see!

:ugeek:
Too many years fighting the tears, Why can't the past just die. Try to for give, teach me to live, give me the strength to try. No more memories, no more silent tears, no more gazing across the wasted years, help me to say. Goodbye"

I like that, 'tis quite a nice poem the way I see it - made me chuckle at the end ^^
