9/11 Poem: TEARS THAT FALL

Postby Emily » Sat Sep 11, 2010 11:58 pm

9/11......that day, that sound.
Is this real, right now.
Is this a movie or just ash made clouds.
So much life lost in thoughs sounds.
So many tears hit the ground, even today when theres no sound.
Mothers, fathers, brothers, sisters, sons, daughters, friends, family, singles, lovers, married and others.
YOU WILL NEVER BE FORGOTTEN
NOT TODAY
NOT EVER
NOT NOW
BECAUSE TEARS STILL FALL AND FALLING TEARS WILL ALWAYS BE REMEMBERD
When i get to heaven to saint peter i will tell.
I hope all thoughs poor sole reached heaven as will.

A very sad day.

Many people say that they always remember where they were when JFK died, I am too young to remember that but I will always remember exactly where I was and who was there when 9/11 happened.

So much hatred from both sides :(

Nice poem Emily.

I was still working when it happened.

We shut down the printing presses (very unusual) and all sat in the office listening to what was going on. We all sat in complete silence which was unusual. When I got home my boyfriend at that time said they deserved everything that happened to them. That didn't bode well with me. We have since split up
