A twelve hour day of talks, shows and workshops climaxes with the Duckie Summer Party. Amy Lamé, DJs Readers Wifes and lots of Duckie all-stars present tipsy hoopla, short sharp shows and performance hurdy-gurdy.

Drag and drugs and dancing until dawn – a lot of fun has been had in this no-mans-neighbourhood.
But its war wounds are showing. Blinking into the daylight, Vauxhall club runners Duckie take a look at how getting on it has been a way of life in their manor.

DUCKIE SUMMER PARTY

Fight for your right to party? Or fight for your right to be arty? Well, it is summertime so sup, swig, swill, slurp… and schlep to the supersonic sounds of DJs Readers Wifes.
Rock’n’roll band The Caezars join hostess Amy Lamé as some Duckie all-stars present tipsy hoopla and performance hurdy-gurdy.

Amy Lamé interviews historian David Coke about their rich past as we go in search of Duckie's roots.

A live Radio Duckie special. Hear the infamous Duckie DJs play records, show videos and make notes on key epochs in pop where the music and culture are fuelled by different substances.
The Readers Wifes will be interviewed by Baylen Leonard.

No stranger to the sauce, this legendary saloon bar entertainer stages a forensic examination into the pleasures and perils of being on the P*ss. As The Divine David his intoxicated improvisations were fuelled by copious amounts of booze, but since his re-invention as David Hoyle, he maintains, ‘I don’t drink these days … only white wine’.
