Where do you get your clothes and shoes?

Postby Kellyann1 » Fri Nov 20, 2015 10:31 pm

As I am new to building a wardrobe of shoes and clother myself I wondered where everyone else got theres from. Do you do all your shopping online or are their stores, that maybe have branches here in Yorkshire that are trans friendly? I am finding clothing and shoe sizes to be more complicated than I thought but luckily most of what I have ordered online has fitted. Someone told me I was probably a size 20 but looking at comparison charts on Google it suggests more like a 24. AND DONT GET ME STARTED ON SHOES. I take a 9 in a mans shoe and 10 in a trainer but I find conflicting comparrisons online. Is there a store that will allow me to go in and try stuff on. What do you all do?

I seem to recall I just bought stuff from M&S. It was a big store and nobody asked questions but I'm so used to walking into shops and looking round now, it seems like another age.

Shoes are a problem. I tend to use Brantano or Deichmann, both of which you just them on at the display but they both do 9s and 10s and Brantano arrange by size so you don't have to look far!

Most have a free returns policy. Check first though, buying online could not be easier compared with the 'old days'.

You can try on in the privacy of your own home if you are really worried you can try a shopping service or similar like this. http://www.hellogorgeous.online/
