Epilating

Postby WeWantWaffles » Mon May 27, 2013 2:27 pm

From personal experience:
- First few times hurt
- Going fast will at least shorten the unpleasant process
- Punk should help *nods*
- It's eventually worth it
- The world feels slightly more chilly o.o

Think of it as a rite of passage! You're not a real woman until you've ripped hair by hair from their roots all over your body. If you're uninterested in enduring all that, I have also read that there are creams that can numb the skin a little. Stiiill.. I'm sure the neighborhood wouldn't mind hearing your lovely voice (*cough*, screams) every now and again ^_^ ..

.. Could also be that I'm just sensitive <3 In which case, I hate my parents.
- Sarah
And at the end of it all, I just want them to say; "Oh, that Sarah. She was a pretty awesome chick."

Haha don't we all when we are in that teen year. Then we grow up thinking, oh they were right. I should of listened. :gigglersx:

I wish I'd come across this discussion sooner!

Tuesday evening I shaved my legs, which was wonderful and they are still silky smooth and I'm lovingnthevsensTion of duffer entrances against them.

I also tried hair removal cream on my body, which only shifted about half the hair (maybe I should have trimmed it first) and ended up shaving my torso as well. Body butter worked miracles at soothing and moisturising, but it's already growing back. First signs of stubble appearing.

I have now ordered an epilator....

Thanks for this discussion. I think I'm going to try this epilator. Been looking forward to buy a new one.. Hope I can find this in my area.
