I was looking for some information on wigs when I stumbled across this old thread and I wanted to chime in, in case someone else seems to be looking for some information as well. Ideally, much like Trisha, I would like to try out a wig before I buy one, but I haven't really found any friendly places that I would feel comfortable going into (so if anyone has suggestions, please feel free to let me know). More recently I have been reading up about wigs online and I came across different resources, some of which I would be more than comfortable buying a wig from. This one for instance had some rather affordable monofilament wigs:

My main issue with this though is the fact that I can't try it on, so if I do order it and it happens to be the wrong size/wrong fit, I will have to go through all the hassle of returning it. If anyone has any suggestions that they think might help, I am all ears. I'm just not really comfortable with actually walking into a store, mostly because of having to deal with other people, but maybe I should just get over my anxiety...
