Cameras

Postby Christine » Wed Mar 05, 2014 7:34 pm

I'm on the lookout for a very small digital camera and was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for me... This is really to replace the ancient Canon Ixus that we had: it's a lovely little camera which took excellent photos, and even though it was only 5 Mpixels, the images were good enough for pretty decent enlargements. Easy to use, tiny... and, being a Canon, unreliable: it no longer takes pictures at all. Like many other Canon things I've owned, the QA appears to have not been spectacular.

So my requirements are: tiny; not Canon; and not Panasonic, since M doesn't like them either.

We currently have a Fujifilm X10, which is fairly small and is certainly very good (in fact it's mostly taken over from my EOS 5D, though part of that is my general concern about Canon reliability) but it's still too big and heavy to drop into my handbag and forget about until I want it.
