I don't normally show a link but in this case its very kewl.
It is a website - once you have 'Google Earth' installed you visit this place allow their app access.
Add a To and From destination by locating them on Google earth window on the site itself and then start your journey, It draws on Google Earth Street View and Bing 3D. as you make you journey a little virtual car drives along showing you everything on the way - fantastic and sure Google buyout is in the pipeline for this check it out. You may need good bandwidth but you can make your favourite screen full screen rather than all 4. and you can speed up the car. I made a few journeys from back in the day to see how my home town had changed. Excellent )x
As seen on BBC Click.

"Never believe that a few caring people can't change the world. For, indeed, that's all who ever have." M.Mead
Man [...] must count no one but himself; that he is alone, abandoned on earth in the midst of his infinite responsibilities, without help, with no other aim than the one he sets himself, with no other destiny than the one he forges for himself on this earth." - J.P.Sartre.
