Now we have all seen a page of text some of my blogs over on http://blog.transgenderzone.com/ are humungous to say the least
So how about a free plugin for your Firefox Browser that will speed read text in a box and you can adjust it at a pace or number of lines you like.
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-us/firefox/addon/reasy/
The trouble is with speed reading is it can go off the moment you select text well with this you can just the speed the font the size and even if it starts automatically.
It is set to 25 words selected by default so if you copy and past more than that as a habit set it higher. Its no substitute for a quick glance over a page but a great one for those who need to actually read a lot of text without getting tired. You can read up to 10 times faster this way as it is all played before your eyes.
To make adjustments you will need click on the top left firefox logo and select addons - then Extensions and then OPTIONS and from there you can fiddle with it.
I have mine with black text on a light yellow bg to prevent my eyes retaining the image after it shuts.
In anycase its free have fun with it and maybe now you can read some of our longer blogs You can start with this One LOL

PS It will also read PDF documents when open in Firefox So thats great and a lot cheaper than the 50 bucks wanted by spreeder and 7speedreading. And online stuff means you have to open their webpage and copy and paste text into their little boxes - annoying!
