World Cup 2010

Postby Flameboy » Fri Jun 11, 2010 10:19 pm

So, who else is following the World Cup then? I'll lay my cards out on the table and state first of all that I am NOT an England supporter, being a Scot and all that, but I am a big football fan so I'm really looking forward to the next month of football :D

I only saw the highlights of the South Africa v Mexico game - but what an AWESOME opening goal from South Africa! I'd have loved to have seen them score that last minute chance, where they hit the post, but it wasn't to be. Ah well...

Pity the Uruguay v France match wasn't so hot this evening, but never mind - there's plenty more to come!

Oh, and in case anyone's wondering, I'm supporting New Zealand - it'll be just like supporting Scotland; 3 group matches, 3 losses, home before we've worked out how to play our vuvuzelas ;) And if we actually manage to get a point, then we have an excuse for mega celebrations!

BRING IT ON!

Football... Football...

Is that the one with the people who dive everywhere if a gnat gets within a mile of them?
