I must say it does look like he changed direction slightly to bump into her deliberately.

I like this comment someone has posted under the You Tube clip:-
"i love how she just gets up and carries on, unlike most footballers." :clap:

I've seen players run into male linesmen before, albeit not seemingly deliberately. They usually check to make sure they are ok. Some of it depends on the player and their attitude.

Perhaps he was hoping to make a point but her response of getting straight up and giving a smile afterwards was the best thing she could have done.

All I can say is that if the comments they did not remove are anything to go by, the ones they did remove must have been quite something.

The rather low level of literacy and analytical power displayed in some of the comments came across to me as more pathetic than threatening.

Besides, the lineswoman didn't exactly look bothered by the incident.
