The story of a lesbian schoolgirl cheerleader who is sent by her parents to a vaguely religious school to re-educate gays to be straight. The owner of this school is used as the focus of much comedy. There's also a love story but I'm not going to spoil that by revealing the outcome.
When I was a youg researcher at an American university, there appeared an ad on the wall asking if the readers fancied trying cheerleading. Um, well, yes I wanted to rather badly, but...
