Apologies if I'm misinformed or if this has been explained somewhere but I've got some serious muscles and nerve endings in there. Why can't they turn them 'inside out', the opposite to the way they do in MTFs? I'd love to preserve the sensations I get in there but to have that tissue used on an external shape that resembles an average sized penis. Couldn't they use the muscles and nerve endings as part of the phalloplasty?
Having the mangina removed (I know there's the option to keep it but don't like the fact it sticks in instead of out...), I fear I'd miss out on the sensations I currently get (as opposed to what I've read, I do have sensation all the way through and the muscles are very strong all the way through).
Lower surgery - why can't they use the mangina muscles?

There's a common misconception that FTMs don't have a penis. I have 3. The first one is a micro penis, the second one is inside out and the third one is not attached.

Hi There:
That is an interesting idea. I doubt if you will find any contributor to this website who knows the answer to that question. You might be better writing to the SRS surgeons and asking them.
The MTF ones are:
Mr James Bellringer, Department of Urology, Charing Cross Hospital, Fulham Palace Road, London W6 8RF
Mr Philip Thomas, The Nuffield Hospital, Warren Road, Brighton, BN2 6DX
I’m afraid I do not know who the FtM genital surgeons are.

Thanks. Thought there might be someone on this forum who has had lower surgery and/or a vaginectomy and who's already asked the surgeons what would happen with the muscles and nerve ending in there?Hi There:

In a vaginectomy, do they just remove the tissue and muscles and throw it all away and stitch the opening shut? I know they sometimes use skin from the vagina to make the urethral lengthening, but the urethra isn't big, so what do they do with the rest of the vagina, i.e. the muscles and nerve endings - does anyone happen to know this?

Hi,
I've not had lower surgery as yet, (losing weight to get there). I'll try to answer the question you posed.
It would be very strange to have a penis on the under side of the body, that's if they turned it outside in??? Very wrong. It would not be very strong either.
The way surgeons are carry out lower surgery today is the best they can be, who know what they can do in the future.
There is a a group at Yahoo, about lower surgery is discussed and shown.
Are you going to go for lower surgery, if so who are you thinking of going with? As you can ask them as many questions as you wish.
