A Christmas Crow (BBC Christmas Day)
Ben Elton delivers another funny episode but the twist in the tale of this episode is the lines read by David Mitchell who plays William Shakespeare.
When his wife suggests he should change the name of his cross-dressing play from eigth night to twelth night he remarks, 2it would be easy as the title has nothing to do with the play.2 But that he may shelve it for a few years "as he doesn't think the the world is read for a gender non-specific trans play." To which his wife played by Liza Tarbuck replies, "Well you were always ahead of your time!" "And goodwill to all men... and women and to those like my Viola who aren't exactly sure. Merry Christmas!
Nice touch and helps to just subliminally suggest things like this in passing.

Man [...] must count no one but himself; that he is alone, abandoned on earth in the midst of his infinite responsibilities, without help, with no other aim than the one he sets himself, with no other destiny than the one he forges for himself on this earth." - J.P.Sartre.
