needle electrolysis is the only thing guaranteed to kill the follicle

as the probe removes the hair variable as with laser you are relying on the pigment (black things absorb heat better than cold things) that said a needle probe (they are blunt on the end) slides down beside the hair and zaps the hair root blub in one hit done!
I'd say if you have a face full full of dark hairs start of with Laser as it's much much quicker. Then you can switch to electrolysis to take care of the rest. I'm having very good success with Laser but accept I'll need to switch over to get the light ones later which the laser wont kill.

As Cassie says take care of the face first.

and the best which is FLASH thermolysis - flash capable machines are cohiba sublimes 2004 le a bit pricer so a salon would have to invest like 2 grand plus for one I bought one about 6 years ago imported from the USA NY to be exact. Great piece of kit. Min is the Apilus last years model of this one so I can vouch for flash its the same as laser as in fast but through the end of a needle.
