Places to buy larger or wider shoes

Postby Hellfrozeover » Sat Apr 24, 2010 3:33 pm

A lot of trans women and even some cisgendered women have issues finding shoes that wouldfit larger feet yet still look attractive. Feel free to post recommendations on favourite brands that sell shoes over an eight (as far as I'm aware, that's where the highstreet brands tend to go up to).

Evans can be found on most highstreets and caters to larger women. They have a variety of fashionable shoes in wider and larger sizes than can be found in most highstreet stores.

New Look can also be found on the highstreet and do some shoe styles up to a nine as well as a wide-fitting range. They also have a range of tall clothing.

Priceless Shoes can be found on some highstreets and do shoes in a huge (no pun intended!) range of sizes. Great for buying a cheap pair of easily replaceable shoes for a night out!

Feel free to add your own. Keep it discussion free, honest and factual.

I received a couple of recommendations for Nine West shoes. They have quite an interesting, slightly quirky range, go up to about size 11 (they're US sizes) and are available in John Lewis and other department stores.

Office: http://www.office.co.uk/index.shtml - only go up to size 9 but that's two sizes bigger than most high street shops. Just ordered myself a couple of pairs of boots much reduced :D Let's hope they fit!
