Hi everyone!
My name is Annalisa Falcone I am an Italian photographer and I’m doing a project about sexual identity. The installation will take place at Interzone Gallery, in Rome, Italy. It will be an installation that mixes together audio e photography. Basically, I’m collecting stories (by recording them) about people’s past sexual experiences and I’m taking a picture of each one of them. The main purpose of my project is to create a natural and spontaneous talk about sex, where different people, from different backgrounds and sexual orientations, show how there are numerous ways to talk about sex and to express sexuality.
If you are interested in being part of this project, I ask you to think to one of your past (or recent) sexual experiences and choose one. There are no specific requests for the subject of your story and it doesn’t necessarily have to involve sexual intercourse. What I will ask you is: “Tell me about a relevant sexual experience that you lived. Why it was important to you, what you remember the most and what has changed after that.”
If you agree to be part of my project, the first step will be making an audio record of your story.
The second step will be taking a picture of you. I would like you to choose a place where you want me to take your picture. I will take a simple portrait, you can be dressed as you prefer.
