What am i
I have no idea what to do or what I am. My story is so long to explain, before I was born my mother always prayed for a boy, but I jus wasn't that. So time after time in my life it was made obvious to me, by siblings stating "I wonder how he would've been." Or even my mother saying "if you like dressing like a guy so much, jus go stick a dick on" purely cause I didn't want to take a bag to work. A year ago, I was pretending to be someone else on the Internet, but I never knew this was why? I still wish I could be someone else, not myself. It was easier that way. My current girlfriend is straight. I'm the only girl she's ever liked, and I feel as though my acceptance of what I am has jus become more explicit in the time with her, because I'm not what she wants. When I look at a guy with a toned body, a beard, the hair I want, the clothes, the personality, and confidence, I wonder why that can't have been me? I know I can never change, and whenever I think about transitioning I shy away, not only in fear of what my family relations will become, but because I not want to transition. I just want to be the opposite.

Listen to the 1. Childhood section here of my interview with Luke Anderson (the Big Brother Winner and great friend of TransgenderZone).
http://media.transgenderzone.com/?p=2014
In this he explains about his feelings of being a lesbian but it not feeling quite right and wanting to be seen as the male he was/is.
Being Transgender is tough! I have heard disabled people say that being disabled was easier! I do not think the world still truly understands the total and what feels like impossible task of changing gender roles and being accepted by all those around you as that gender.
However, it is possible, people transition EVERY DAY! Many on this site and the wonderful moderating team have been there, have selflessly advised thousands of people like yourself and have wathed people's progress and their happiness build until they are finally at one with themselves at last.
My advice for now is to listen to that interview, you may like to listen to at least the first 4 interviews there. See if it sounds like you? If it does it might be time to look at transitioning to male?!
