I agree totally.

With a few variances to the above, Tamsin is correct with procedure however documentation is an individual variance according to previous Passports etc., i.e., if you have had a passport, your original identity has been established and it is merely a matter of continuity if you have changed name or Gender. So long as a link can be established, you should have no problem gaining a passport in your current identity mode so long as you supply the evidence requested.

The biggest obstacle in my view is the outrageous charges levied for the passport itself :x

I had FFS two months ago and I have to to see the surgeon abroad again in January. Will I have any problems with borders (EU borders that is)?

Hi Phaedra

What did the passport office say? I too may be going aboard for surgery, so hopefully the before and after face should be more than a little different !!! Would a letter from your surgeon help on the return journey? Should you change your name and gender on the password before travelling?
