That's completely irrelevant. The point is that they're used in a gender neutral way whereas Mr/Master/Sir/Mrs/Miss/Mrs/Ms etc are not. There should be a gender neutral option for those who aren't doctors or professors. Yeah, it's called Mx, but a lot of places don't use it or even know of it. Jane...

South Asia = Pakistan, India, some other countries.
Southeastern Asia = Thailand etc.
The Middle East does not include Pakistan. It's countries like Iran, Iraq, UAE, Qatar and Lebanon. Mr Fry does not know everything, and is quite often wrong.
