From IP SydnieG appears to be in the US - of course, that could be an obscured IP

Contact Wigstoreuk here https://www.wigstoreuk.co.uk/

Say You spoke to TransgenderZone on the Forums about them with us.

They will look after you. They are established friendly, and understand trans* issues. We have known them for years.

I personally would not go anywhere else. At least go to their site email them here https://www.wigstoreuk.co.uk/contact-us/

Mention Us as we know them very well and it will help you sort something out (plain packaging etc... Explain your predicament! Again they will do their best if you explain to them exactly what you need.

And let us know how you get on.

PS. I will forward this post to them.

x

I was looking for some information on wigs when I stumbled across this old thread and I wanted to chime in, in case someone else seems to be looking for some information as well. Ideally, much like Trisha, I would like to try out a wig before I buy one, but I haven't really found any friendly places that I would feel comfortable going into (so if anyone has suggestions, please feel free to let me know). More recently I have been reading up about wigs online and I came across different resources, some of which I would be more than comfortable buying a wig from. This one for instance had some rather affordable monofilament wigs: http://www.godivassecretwigs.com/monofilament-wigs/

My main issue with this though is the fact that I can't try it on, so if I do order it and it happens to be the wrong size/wrong fit, I will have to go through all the hassle of returning it. If anyone has any suggestions that they think might help, I am all ears. I'm just not really comfortable with actually walking into a store, mostly because of having to deal with other people, but maybe I should just get over my anxiety... :?

Just a note to say that to avoid breaking and advertising rules please only PM the poster a link or address. But discussion is fine as long as links and adverts are not posted. :)

Example: "I went to a place in Manchester! It was Great the owner Beryl (made up name) helps in a private room especially for transpeople - I will pm you the address and phone number..."

Is fine

"Yeah go to 2 the railway cuttings smith city tell 09801e23809184084£ -is not :)
